This page explains the basic terms for using TaxiCourse.uk, accessing course materials, and taking part in training delivered through our systems. We aim to keep this practical, proportionate, and easy to understand.

Terms of use
Last updated: 02 April 2026
Website and services operated by: Frontera Ltd, 27 Board School Road, Woking GU21 5HD
In plain English

These terms are here to keep things fair and clear. They are not designed to trap anyone. Please use the site and any course access honestly, do not share protected materials casually, and do not misuse accounts or content.

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to people who visit TaxiCourse.uk, make enquiries through the site, or access training, course materials, or learning systems connected with our services.

If a learner, employer, training provider, council, or partner organisation has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement may add to or override parts of these general website terms where appropriate.

Using the site

You may use this website to learn about our services, contact us, and access related information in a lawful and sensible way.

  • do not use the site for fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity
  • do not interfere with the site’s normal operation or security
  • do not try to gain access to areas, files, or accounts that are not meant for you
  • do not pretend to be someone else when making enquiries or using services

Course access and Moodle use

Some training or learning services may be delivered through Moodle or another learning platform. Where access is granted, it is normally provided for the named learner or authorised user only.

Course access may be limited by enrolment dates, payment status, licensing requirements, booking conditions, completion rules, or other operational criteria explained at the time of enrolment or booking.

  • access is personal unless we clearly state otherwise
  • you must not share your course login with another person
  • you must not copy, resell, or redistribute protected course materials without permission
  • you must follow any platform rules, deadlines, and assessment instructions that apply to your course

Access criteria and learner responsibility

It is your responsibility to make sure that the course or service you choose is suitable for your needs unless we have specifically advised you otherwise.

Where a course has entry requirements, identity checks, licensing relevance, attendance conditions, completion rules, or assessment expectations, you are responsible for meeting them honestly.

We may refuse, pause, or withdraw access where there is a legitimate reason to do so, for example where information given to us is misleading, access is being misused, required conditions are not met, or a platform account is being used improperly.

Accounts, passwords, and security

If you are given a login or learner account, you are responsible for keeping your account details secure.

  • keep your password private
  • do not let another person use your learner account
  • tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised
  • use accurate contact details so that important course messages can reach you

We may suspend or reset access where there is a reasonable security concern.

Copyright and intellectual property

Unless we clearly say otherwise, the content on this site and in our course materials belongs to us, our partners, our licensors, or other rights holders.

This includes course text, page design, structure, wording, images, downloads, assessments, learning materials, branding, and other original content.

  • you may read and use materials for your own legitimate learning or business purpose where access has been granted
  • you may not copy large parts of the content and republish it as your own
  • you may not reproduce, sell, share, scrape, or distribute protected materials without permission
  • you must not remove copyright notices, trade marks, or ownership information

If you want to use our materials beyond normal learner or client use, please ask first. We are open to proper permission routes, but not casual copying.

Acceptable use

We expect users to behave respectfully and lawfully when dealing with us, our staff, our systems, and our learning environments.

  • do not harass, abuse, or threaten staff, tutors, administrators, or other users
  • do not upload malware, harmful code, or misleading content
  • do not attempt to bypass restrictions, completion rules, or platform safeguards
  • do not misuse learning materials, messaging tools, or assessments

If needed, we may restrict access where behaviour crosses a reasonable line.

Changes, suspension, and availability

We may update the site, change content, amend these terms, or alter platform arrangements from time to time. Where changes are important, we will aim to present them clearly rather than burying them.

We do our best to keep the site and learning systems available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times. There may be maintenance, updates, outages, or operational changes outside our immediate control.

Liability and limits

We aim to provide accurate information and a reliable service, but we do not promise that the website or course access will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every personal circumstance.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability where the law does not allow that. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses arising from normal use of the website or learning platform.

You remain responsible for how you use information provided through the site, and for making sure that any course or service is appropriate for your own regulatory, professional, or operational needs.
